What is Meta AI?

Meta AI is Meta's free assistant inside its apps and at meta.ai. It now runs on Meta's Muse models (Muse Spark for reasoning, Muse Image and Muse Video for media) rather than Llama. In September 2026 Meta launched Meta One subscriptions that add more AI usage and image and video generation, while everyday Meta AI stays free.

Puts an assistant inside the messaging and social apps billions of people already use.
